Over the last decade I have been working to advocate and implement captive husbandry research for California's native amphibian species.
From 2016-2019 I worked with staff at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco to implement a captive husbandry research and head-start program for imperiled salamander species. Since that time, I have worked as a member of the CA/NV Amphibian Populations Task Force advocating for captive husbandry programs and identifying and advising qualified institutions interested in implementing such programs.
